>,< I hate it when the power supply or power cable goes. I wish you the best in getting the computer back and the power issue resolved, and I hope the warranty's still good. It tends to help in matters like that. Personally, I'm about to return to posting as normal as soon as I can catch up since over the past month there wasn't really time to post all that much.

I do hope the power issues with your computer are resolved quickly, without costing a bundle ^_^

Thanks the one in the shop has something loose on the inside that made it turn on and off and if they can not fix it it will be replaced which will make the 300.00 protection plan i bought for it worth it. the other one i can not afford to fix because it will be about 340.00 to fix if it can be the prong that the power cable plugs into is loose and some models that is fixable and some it is not. I would have to fork over the money to find out and it is no longer covered.  Thank you for the mojo I need as much as I can get.

S'all good. The heat wave up here in NY sucked the life right outta me.

We got a brief respite here in Albany today.

It was a full ten degrees cooler!

A month ago and I suppose it's still ongoing, we're facing temperatures of at least a hundred to about one hundred five or more here in Georgia. I know that in Florida, where I spent the last month (visiting relatives, not something I had planned on) the temperatures were in the high nineties combined with the high humidity. It was so thick you had to have gills to breath in it.

Well I am back. They refused to fix it. I really hate the loopholes that put in those protection plans. You purchase it they say it covers everything. ya right

we have a/c i put in our new window unit last month 220 lbs was not able to walk for the next few day. my father is on oxygen and bed ridden so he has to have the a/c to breath. even so we went a month of over the 90 with out it and even with the dehimidfier running it was thick air. right now it is alternating between raining and hot. right now we have a lake in front of our house hopefully we will not get anymore otherwise we might have to start sand bagging. we have a 2 acre pond on the back of the property that is feed by a creek that circles our property. the humidity is so high that our windows are fogging. lol and it is not even August yet.

Had a similar experience with CompUSA towards the end of their lifespan (before Systemax bought them out, that is).

It got fixed, after I threatened to sue.  Grin
